Get Emergency on your phone.
A minute to download, two to set up — then it watches over every drive, even with the screen locked.
The app isn't on Google Play yet, so Android will warn about an "unknown source" while installing — that's normal, and the steps below show what to tap.
On a computer?
Scan the code with your phone's camera to open this page there and download it.

4 steps, just once
-
1
Tap "Download the app"
If your browser asks whether to download the file, tap Download. It takes about a minute on Wi-Fi.
-
2
Open the file
From the "Download complete" notification, or from the Files → Downloads app, tap app-release.apk.
-
3
Allow installs from your browser
If you see "For your security, your phone is not allowed to install unknown apps": tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back.
-
4
Tap "Install"
If Play Protect says "Unknown app", tap More details → Install anyway. Then Open.
The first 3 minutes, so protection works properly
The app walks you through it — these are the things not to skip.
Sign in with your number
You'll get a code by text message. No password to remember.
Add a contact and your blood type
Without at least one emergency contact, an alert reaches nobody. And blood type is the first thing a paramedic asks.
Allow location "all the time"
And let the app run without battery restrictions — otherwise Android stops detection when the screen locks.
Installing — questions
Is the file safe?
Yes. It's the same app that will be on Google Play, downloaded directly from our server. Android shows the warning for any app from outside the store, not because of a problem with the file.
The file downloaded but I can't find it
Open the "Files" or "File manager" app and go to "Downloads". The file is called app-release.apk.
How do I update the app?
Download from this page again and install over the old version. Your account and all your data stay as they are.
I have an iPhone
The app is Android-only for now. iPhone limits background apps much more, and we're still working on a version for it.
"App not installed"
Usually there isn't enough space, or an old conflicting version is installed. Free up space, or uninstall the old version and install again.
Ready?
Free, in Arabic and English, and it works without you opening it.
